From fine dining, to the best gelato in town, artisan sausages, Peruvian food, and incredible craft beer, you are in for a treat and a full belly! Plus, let your local guide present some amazing heritage buildings throughout your tour. This is a night out to remember!

This tour includes not only includes not only 5 food and drink stops (food and drinks included), but also a walking historical tour, many heritage buildings, your transportation (pickup and drop-off) from Ottawa and Gatineau, your guide, and much more!

With your knowledgeable guide, you will have the chance to visit the following locations during this epic food tour of Old-Aylmer:

• Restaurant Amazonas: This incredible local Peruvian restaurant has been part of Old-Aylmer for over a decade offer delicious recipes in a family-run restaurant. Enjoy the most delicious empanadas and a special Peruvian drink.
• Restaurant Antonyme: known for its originality, creativity, and freshness, Antonyme will prepare a special dish for you using the finest of ingredients. With a constant changing menu, who knows what treat they have in store for you. Plus, a little wine pairing with your dish.
• 5e Baron: Go backstage at this local microbrewery and enjoy not only 2 tastings of their amazing craft beers, but also learn about the production and tasting of these beers.
• William J. Walter Aylmer: A Québécois family-owned company offering a unique concept of high-quality sausages, with over 60 varieties of fresh and smoked sausages, ranging from the traditional flavours to the most eccentric ones. Here, guests will be served a variety of delicious cooked sausages.
• Casis Gelato & Sorbet: Enjoy the best homemade gelato in the entire region at this local treasure.  

The Old-Aylmer Food Tour is offered every Thursday night from 5:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. The tour is run in our minibus with groups of up to 14 people. Many pickup and drop-off options are available (see Pick up/Drop off section for more information). Pickups will occur up to 50 minutes before the beginning of the tour. You can choose a preferred pickup location at checkout and a specific pickup time will be sent to you by email a couple of days prior to your tour. For guests who reside in Aylmer, a meet-up location will be sent to you for the beginning of the tour (choose Old-Aylmer as your pickup location at checkout). This is a walking tour of Old-Aylmer with transportation from Ottawa & Gatineau.

The price includes your transportation, your guide, all your tastings of food and drinks. Gratuities for your guide are not included but appreciated in case of great service. Price is per participant. It will be possible to purchase products (Drinks, food, etc.) at most of the visited locations. Guests must be 18 years or older to enjoy the wine tasting at our first stop. For food restrictions, alternative food options can be offered.
