Ultimate Dog Sledding Tour - Ottawa & Gatineau

There is probably nothing more Canadian than taking full advantage of winter with a dog sledding experience in the great winter landscape! This winter, join Aventure Outaouais for this Ultimate Dog Sledding Tour where we will not only take you on a dog sledding adventure in the beautiful Petite-Nation region of the Outaouais, but we will also explore a massive waterfall taller than the Niagara Falls! All this with the most experiences guides, hot chocolate to keep you warm, and your transportation from Ottawa and Gatineau! This is truly the best way to enjoy a beautiful Quebec winter day!

In partnership with the most amazing 3rd generation mushers, we our proud to offer the most amazing all-inclusive winter experience:

• Guest will enjoy 1 full hour of dog sledding with a professional guide. The mushers will do all the work for you for the entire duration of the trip. In total, guests will spend roughly 2 hours at the dog sledding location.
• A guided tour of the Plaissance Falls, a waterfall that is taller than the Niagara Falls;
  
• Transportation from and to downtown Ottawa & Gatineau;
• and much more, like unlimited snacks in our minibus and all necessary equipement..

The Ultimate Dog Sledding Tour is offered every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. until mid-March (with a few special dates added during the holidays). This tour can be booked for special events during the week upon request. The tour is run in our minibus with groups of up to 14 people. Many pickup and drop-off options are available (see Pick up/Drop off section for more information). Pickups will occur up to 50 minutes before the beginning of the tour. You can choose a preferred pickup location at checkout and a specific pickup time will be sent to you by email a couple of days prior to your tour. 

The price includes your transportation, your guide, all your activities and snacks. Gratuities are not included but appreciated in case of good service. Price is per participant. Kids that are 12 years or under (or under 100 lbs.) are charged a reduced price (165$) (will have to provide photo ID the day of the tour) and will be seated with the parents. We need a minimum of 5 guests to run this tour. This tour may be postponned due to bad weather, such as freezing rain or temperatures under negative 25 degrees. Guests over the weight of 250lbs must contact us before booking. There may be a surcharge of 65$ per guests over the weight limit of 250 lbs. This charge is due to the fact that each sled has a weight limit in order to ensure the safety of the guests and the comfort of the overall experience.
