This summer, Aventure Outaouais will be hosting some new and exciting tours that will surely get guests excited for summer in the region. Plus, we are going to be hosting our first ever full tour in Ottawa. So, what's new for this summer at Aventure Outaouais?
New Walking Tours
Aventure Outaouais will be offering 2 brand new walking tours this summer. First, we will be hosting our Ottawa Historical Walking Tour of ByTown where our local guide and historian will take guests on a 2 hours walking tour of the historical ByTown. This tour will allow guests to discover some of Ottawa's most important historical sites, such as the Rideau Canal, the old train station, the ByWard Market, and much more. Accompanied by a local guide, guests will step into Ottawa's past as they are brought through time to learn about the region's First Nations, to the foundation of ByTown, and the building of the nation's capital.
A second walking tour that will be available this summer is our brand new Old-Hull Historical Walking Tour. With your local guide, you will be taken on a 2 hour walking tour of Old-Hull. From the great lumber industry, to the prohibition era, the creation of the first women's workers union, the great fire, and much more, Hull has a rich history full of amazing stories and legends.
Combine both tours to get a better understanding of the Nation Capital's rich history and heritage.
New Lazy River Rafting Tour
We are so excited to present this Ultimate Lazy River Rafting Tour! Get ready to take full advantage of your summer with this full day in the sun. This guided tour includes a 15 km lazy river descent on a raft where guests will be able to enjoy drinks, go for a swim, and just have a blast. Afterwards, enjoy the beach, a BBQ (lunch is provided), and some awesome axe throwing. This is the perfect trip to enjoy summer with your friends and family.
New Addition To Our Pontiac Farm Tour
This summer, our Pontiac Farm Tour will have a brand new stop, that is an ostriche farm! That's right, this 4 stop tour will now include a family-run ostriche farm where guests will be able to get up close and learn about these incredible animals. During this tour, guests will also be able to visit an alpacas farm, a yak farm, and a cider mill. With free transportation from Ottawa and Gatineau, as well as lunch, this is the perfect day out of the city.
